Alice A. Loveys, M.D.
Dr. Loveys has been practicing pediatrics in Pittsford since
1994. She was born and raised in Vestal, NY (outside of
Binghamton) and moved to the Rochester area to attend college
and play soccer at the University of Rochester. She has lived in the Rochester area
ever since. Dr. Loveys attended the University of Rochester
Medical School and completed her internship and residency at Strong Children's Hospital. She was Chief Resident at
Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Loveys is Board Certified by
the American Board of Pediatrics. Her area of special
interest includes medical informatics. She is on several
national councils and local committees on information
technology and
actively evaluates new technologies to improve medical care
for patients. Dr. Loveys lives in Pittsford and has three
children of her own ("my independent
studies").
Janet Cranshaw, M.D.
Dr. Cranshaw has been practicing pediatrics since 1991.
Originally from Massachusetts, she attended medical school and
completed her pediatric training and chief residency in St.
Louis, Missouri. Dr. Cranshaw is Board Certified by the
American Board of Pediatrics. She moved to the Rochester
area in 2001 with her husband and two children, Laura and
David. They enjoy camping, exploring local attractions and
playing games of all kinds. Dr. Cranshaw's previous work and
hobbies include geology, juggling, unicycling and woodworking.
Deborah Abell, M.D.
Dr. Abell has been practicing pediatrics since 1999.
Originally from Fairport, she attended medical school and
completed her pediatrics training and chief residency in
Burlington, Vermont. She then practiced pediatrics in
Northampton, Massachusetts for 8 years before joining Drs.
Loveys and Cranshaw in 2007. Dr. Abell is board certified by
the American Board of Pediatrics. She lives in Fairport with
her husband, Kim, a family physician in Penfield, and her two
boys, who enjoy any activity related to Star Wars or Legos.
Paul Maxwell, RN, MS, FNP
Paul was born and raised on Long Island, NY.
He attended Niagara University, graduating with a BS in
Nursing and entered the US Army as a nurse. After several assignments, Paul and his wife Wanda, also an RN, left the
Army and settled near Philadelphia. In 1993, they relocated
from Philadelphia to Rochester and now live in Brighton with
their three children. Paul completed his Family Nurse
Practitioner program at St. John Fisher College.
Paul is also
a staff Nurse Practitioner at the URMC/Strong Hospital
Emergency Department. Additionally, he serves in
the Air Force Reserves as Chief Flight Nurse of his
squadron.
